Peter also sells a range of new and used computers, many of which are ex-Government computers that have been remanufactured, plus computer components and cheap computer monitors. The business even has a fully equipped workshop to repair computers and all associated components, as well as stereos, TVs, VCRs and most other electrical equipment.
"People can talk directly to the technicians about their computer problems and we'll work out what they really need," he said. "It might just be a new monitor or something simple we can fix. If not then we can work out a deal on another computer – for instance we can currently offer a full Pentium 2 system for under $500. Whatever the problem, we're here to help find a solution."
Of course Lismore Book and Computer Traders also have a wide range of books, on everything from adventure fiction to ancient philosophy, which can be purchased or traded. You can buy a book and then trade it back and get half the book's original value off another purchase, which represents a huge saving.
