Meat the Hutleys

If you're looking for the perfect ham to top off your Easter feast, then the world-famous hams from Hutley Brothers Butchers should do the trick.
The Hutley family have been butchering locally since 1880, and they have been in their current South Lismore premises now for more than 50 years. That sort of experience has served the Hutleys well, and many people travel down to Lismore from Brisbane each year just to enjoy the Hutley Brothers Butchers renowned hams and other meats.
In 1996 the butchery was transformed into a licensed Meat Processing Plant, so customers can now be assured of a high standard of quality control.
All meat sold at the butchery is supplied by Northern Rivers farmers, and as well as prime meat cuts the Hutleys make their own range of specialised smallgoods from recipes that have been perfected over many years.
"The same people come back year after year to buy our hams, and I was told by a European gentleman that our kranskys are spot on," said Graham Hutley, who works in butchery with his father Neil, son David and five other staff members. "We have more than 20 lines of gourmet, homemade sausages that we produce on a rotation basis and they're also a real favourite."
As well as providing superb cuts of meat, Hutley Brothers Butchers sell whole rabbits, yummy hams and kangaroo rumps, and even kangaroo and buffalo sausages. Some of the new, exciting smallgoods include Russian style plain and cheese kranskys, spicy devon, pizza roll, vegetable roll and Polish cheese salami, in addition to their extensive range of other smallgoods.
