Can't print? HELP is only a phone call away
 Brendan McIntosh from HELP Computer Repairs says most computer problems can be fixed over the phone.
With over 15 years working with computers Brendan McIntosh says he had long thought there was a need for a service to help people over the phone with those annoying computer problems.
The result is HELP Computer Repairs that has recently commenced business in the Lismore area.
"Most people's problems are relatively easy to fix and can be remedied over the phone without a usually expensive on-site visit," Brendan said.
And he should know. Brendan has worked as a technical support operator with a leading Internet service provider and as a database programmer with a pay TV network.
HELP Computer Repairs will assist with all of your hardware and software difficulties including installing new drives, CDs, digital cameras, and associated software. He'll also help with all of those pesky little problems like configuring printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
Brendan has wide experience with the entire range of Microsoft products, graphic design and web design packages, and HTML.
"I want honesty and customer service to be the bywords of HELP Computer Repairs. If I can't help someone over the phone straight away I'll find out the answer and get back to them as soon as possible. And if I can't fix a problem over the phone I'll visit clients on site."
And Brendan understands that not everyone is computer savvy. "I'm very patient," he says. "Like the time a woman contacted me and said she had broken the computer's coffee cup holder. I couldn't figure out what she meant at first, but it eventually came out that she'd been using the CD as a cup holder and had broken it. It was easy to fix, but the client was very embarrassed when she found out what her "cup holder" was really for."
