For more than 25 years Conlan Brothers Earthmoving has been reshaping the land in and around the Northern Rivers, but today it's a different set of brothers sitting behind the controls of the machines.

Established in 1977 by Daryl and Barry Conlan, and operated from 1985 by Daryl and his wife Marilyn, the business was this year taken over by their sons Heath and Brett.

"It's been a true family operation and Brett and I are very proud to be continuing the tradition of a great local business," said Heath Conlan.

"Dad still likes to get behind the controls every now and then though so some of our long standing customers will still see him around."

With an impressive array of equipment, Conlan Brothers Earthmoving has enough muscle to tackle even the biggest projects.

"As well as both a 21 tonne and a 14 tonne excavator, we operate a number of rollers, tip trucks, and a traxcavator. And we also provide float hire," said Heath.

Conlan Brothers work on roads and house sites, and undertake dam work and bulk excavations. They are also licensed to erect and repair rock retaining walls.

To contact Conlan Bothers Earthmoving phone 6625 2333, or Heath on 0438 537 120 and Brett on 0414 664 006.
