The business was established in March by Greg and Pam Woolley, who locals would know better as the proprietors of Lismore Service Centre.
"We were looking for something to add to our existing business and we thought batteries really complemented our current services perfectly," Greg said. "Battery World's motto is 'power for anything, anytime' and we literally have batteries for every application. There's all automotive batteries including batteries for large trucks, rechargeable batteries, normal AA batteries, batteries for fridges, batteries for mobile phone and computers and every other kind you can think of. If it's got a battery we're the people to see."
With more than 100 stores across Australia, Battery World has the buying power to purchase products at the lowest possible prices and pass those savings on to customers.
Greg and Pam also offer a comprehensive sales service to take all the hassle out of replacing a battery.
"We don't just sell batteries - we fit them, we service them and we offer free battery checks for all automotive batteries," Greg said. "We provide every customer with a charge system check and people are always welcome just to pop in and ask for advice. It's all part of the top quality service."
Battery World even offers a 24-hour roadside service for all automotive batteries, and they can deliver and fit batteries in the Lismore area at anytime of the day or night.
Battery World is located at 19 Three Chain Road in the South Lismore industrial estate.
Battery World is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturday mornings.
