Allstar Repairs, which he bought with his wife Louise just two months ago.
When panel beater and spray painter Leigh McLaughlin and his wife, Louise, moved to the Northern Rivers over three years ago, they began searching for
a business on the plateau.
“A few months ago we found a panel beating workshop on the market and after a little negotiation and a bit of a name change, we are now the proud
owners of Allstar Repairs,” Leigh said. “We have been busy from the day we opened – there’s been a fantastic response from locals. With
my wife and I both serving on local committees and different clubs we are well known in the area.”
Leigh has more than 17 years experience and as a panel beater and spray painter he provides a myriad of different services.
Allstar Repairs caters for all general painting needs and repairs and with a body makers licence Leigh can do welding and small steel fabrication jobs.
Leigh can also perform bumper bar repairs, door and rust repairs, rego checks and re-sprays on just about anything that moves.
“We can do cars, caravans, trucks, buses, motorcycles, machinery, bikes, boats... you name it we can spray it,” Leigh said. “Painting
is one of our major services and no job is ever too small – we can paint everything from fridges to garden furniture. In fact we’re currently
in the process of painting an antique claw bath, which is a nice change from the norm.”
Leigh and Louise operate the business together as a team, with Leigh doing the manual labour and Louise taking care of the office. The pair pride themselves
on providing a friendly and efficient service to the local community, while still maintaining affordable prices.
