Allister Parker literally has a lifetime's experience in plastering.
The owner of Lismore-based company Allister Parker's Plastering, Allister himself started a plastering apprenticeship in Lismore at the age of 16, straight after leaving school.
He has been working in the industry ever since, and this year the born and bred local celebrates his 21st birthday (in his own plastering business that is).
When Allister started his business three decades ago he was the sole operator, but quality work and a friendly attitude has seen Allister's business thrive, and he now employs 22 local staff.
This team of fully qualified tradesman can do both domestic and commercial plastering. In fact they do any job big or small, from patching holes in walls and water damage work to plastering schools, hospitals and family homes.
All work is fully guaranteed by Allister, and the rates are highly competitive.
"The secret for success is to do a good job – it's as simple as that," said Allister.
