Collusion – fusion of old and new
The guys and gals of Collusion will bring something fresh and exciting to Lismore when they play the classics (and some modern) in Lismore soon.
Collusion is a contemporary classical music ensemble of young, vibey artists with plenty of imagination. Benjamin Greaves (violin), Therese Milanovic (piano), Shannon Tobin (cello) and Stephen Wylks (clarinet) cook up both classical and contemporary performances from a huge, diverse and challenging repertoire – from Mozart to Nick Cave. (There are strong links to popular culture.)
Collusion’s success lies in their ability to consistently draw large and often young audiences to their events.
Musica Viva Lismore presents Collusion at Lismore City Hall on Saturday, November 1, from 8pm.
Tickets ($35/30/17) are available from Dymocks in Lismore, the ABC Centre in Ballina, and at the door.
