An exhibition showcasing works by students of the Over 50's Learning Centre in Lismore, Senior Magic, will be held this Saturday and Sunday, September 6-7, at the Lismore Workers Club.

The art and craft exhibition is a stunning snapshot of student works, demonstrating the flair and creativity of some of the region's senior artists and what they have learnt at the centre.

Everything from egg decoration and folk art to woodcarving and calligraphy is featured in the exhibition, illustrating the diversity of art and craft classes run by the centre.

Senior Magic runs from 10am-9pm on Saturday and from 9am-4pm on Sunday, with the official opening ceremony conducted by Lismore mayor Merv King at 4pm on Saturday.
