As part of the 30th anniversary Aquarius Festival celebrations a new photo-documentary, Some Children of the Dream, is now on show at the Nimbin Regional Gallery.

The exhibition explores the alternative movement in Australia over the last three decades, and particular events that happened in the Northern Rivers.

Works by more than a hundred photo­graphers, writers and political commentators are featured in the exhibition.

Their artworks detail the region's rich and colourful history, from the first day of the 1973 Aquarius Festival to the heated Terania Creek protests, the more recent Mardi Grass festivals and the ongoing battle against the Timbarra gold mine.
