The finely detailed artworks tell the story of Sharon's life in the past five years, dealing with everything from the death of friends and breaking up with lovers to people who have inspired and taught her life lessons along the way.
'In doing these artworks I'm leaving behind what I was conditioned to be and I'm just being who I am now," Sharon said. 'It's like an exorcism for me - it's a release of old stuff deep in my soul.
'Doing something creative is a way for me to get all that stuff out, whether it's positive or negative. Life can be hard and beautiful at the same time." After years of doing odd jobs around the area, from cleaning to tick collecting, Sharon is now focusing solely on her art. She has done lots of voluntary art-related activities locally and is now trying to make a career out of her passion. All artworks in Exorcism are for sale.
