Around Town is a free listing for non-profit organisations and community groups.

Written notices can be either emailed to Terra at terra@echonews.com faxed to 6622 1791, or posted to PO Box 37, Lismore, or dropped into The Echo office, 218 Molesworth St, Lismore, by Monday 12 pm, prior to Thursday publication.

Changes to Around Town Guidelines

Due to the high number of entries to Around Town, a number of guidelines have been changed - with the new guidelines to commence from August 1, 2002.

No markets, theatre productions or gigs will be advertised, as the Gig Guide in The Scene serves as a community notice board for these events.

No notices advertising AGMs will be printed - organisations will have to take out a classified ad, at half price for not-for-profit organisations.

To organise classifieds phone Heather on 6622 2888. Also, as of August 1, any events that require bookings will be listed two weeks prior to the event, and then again the week before the event. If events do not require bookings, they will be printed one week before the event.

Collectors Needed
