Buddhists say our thoughts make our world, meaning the way we behave today creates our future. Often we're blissfully unaware of the ways we attract karmic comeback, but with this week's Scorpio Sun, Mercury and Venus whatever happens and however we react reveals our karmic flashpoints - for better or worse, fortunate or adverse.
Aries: Inflammable Aries' temperamental outbursts are legendary. But when Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche was asked: Isn't expressing anger better than keeping it inside? Rinpoche replied: Ask the person to whom you express your anger whether they'd agree. Yeah, right.
Taurus: Dr. Bach evolved his remedy Oak for Tauran type personalities who maintain stubborn ideas about right and wrong. Pliable, bending willows can withstand enormous forces, but inflexible oaks resist until they shatter - the karma of being unable to submit to a greater will than their own.
Gemini: The desire to remain light and entertaining can make Geminis shun deep experiences - others' as well as your own. But your broad intellects need depth to give them weight and balance - unless of course you don't mind the karma of being a lightweight person...
Cancer: Lateral-acting Crabs may say the opposite to what they feel, complain bitterly to someone other than who they're upset with, react badly when people don't behave the way Cancerians want them to. And how willthat feel when it boomerangs back to you?
Leo: With the best and most generous intentions, Leos can undermine other peoples' confidence in being able to act for themselves. How would you feel about someone organizing your decisions and arrangements for you because they felt better equipped to?
Virgo: Virgos' healing mode is maintaining order and efficiency, but that doesn't mean its anyone else's. Expecting others to meet the exacting standards you set for yourself could cause them stress - which, karma being what it is, means you then get stressed when they let you down.
Libra: When something or someone offends their sense of aesthetics or fairness, even lovely Librans can turn into witheringly condescending Beauty Fuhrers making others feel like ugly, gross clodhoppers. Can you Venusians even imagine what that would feel like? A month of bad hair days.
Scorpio: Strong dude Scorpios' karma-magnet is their dislike of weakness - but being dogmatic and emphatic only solidifies gridlocks. Would you like being dictated to - or would a sympathetic, non-blaming attitude to problem solving get better results? Suck it and see.
Sagittarius: Archers, notorious for telling the truth brutally, can abandon it entirely to entertain an audience with a good story. But as you'll have noticed, dishonest gossip, bitchy opinions and hurtful words eventually return - like homing pigeons with unpleasant messages - to sender.
Capricorn: Capricorns spend so much of their lives Being Good and Doing the Right Thing they tend to think they alone know what's the best and only way of doing things. But how would you like someone else telling you the right way to behave?
Aquarius: You know the frustration of communicating an idea to someone who not only doesn't get it, but finds the whole concept so off they don't even want to? That's exactly how it can seem for people explaining their feelings or point of view to you. Believe it, or ask them...
Pisces: You're at ease with the constant fluctuations of reality, but maybe your changing moods and attitudes seem bewildering and contradictory to those who aren't? Letting them know as accurately as possible whichever flow you're going with forestalls future karmic confusion for you.
