The exhibition comprises the works of two groups - the Bunjum Aboriginal Women's Art Group and a group of Casino TAFE students who have working out of the Buyinbin Aboriginal Corporations art shed in Casino.

The Bunjum Aboriginal Women's Art Group is situated at Cabbage Tree Island, a former Aboriginal Reserve south of Wardell. Influenced by one of the oldest living cultural systems on earth, the group's artworks reflect each woman's individual connection with her cultural heritage and natural environment.

Artworks from the TAFE students have all been done during the last 18 months for their Certificate in Aboriginal Art & Cultural Practices course. While these artworks also draw heavily on cultural heritage the course was designed to help each artist find their own individual style, creating a diverse array of paintings and some sculpture.

The exhibition is on show until November 8. The Gallery, on Cullen Street, Nimbin, is open daily from 10am-4pm.
