Topping The Echo's Roll of Honour for our advertisers is LJ Hooker Real Estate, which has been established in Lismore for 85 years. Principal, Paul Deegan (centre with red shirt) is pictured with staff members (l-r) Reyna Michael, Jackie Purdie, Leon Horan, Narelle Lenton and Col Thomas. Paul's grandfather, John Deegan, opened the business in 1916. The business has been in its current location at 56 Woodlark Street now for 61 years, before which it was in the AMP building on Molesworth Street.

Coming in at number two is Harris Cycles, who have been in business for 83 years. The business was established by Cecil Harris and Harold Wotherspoon in 1918 and the store is now run by Harold's granddaughter, Amanda, and her husband, Darryl Pursey (pictured).
