Police are seeking information regarding the theft of two stock whips and a
digital camera stolen from a school in Walker Street, Casino, between 3.30pm on
Friday and 9.20am on Monday morning. Information to Casino Police on 6662 0099.
A Workmate laptop computer, DVD player, Playstation and numerous DVDs were
stolen from a home in Taylor's Road, Goonellabah, between 7pm Wednesday and 1.20am
last Thursday morning. Thieves gained entry after smashing a rear glass door.

Police are reminding people not to leave valuables in their car after thieves
broke into a 2002 Lancer in Oliver Ave, Goonellabah, last Wednesday between 2.30
and 3pm. The thieves smashed a side window and stole a Billabong backpack, an
MP3 player and a CD player.
A 22-year-old Lismore woman has been arrested and charged after she allegedly
tried to use a counterfeit $50 note to purchase goods at a Conway Street business
last Wednesday. Staff realised the note was fake after noticing it had a pink
tinge and was heavier than real cash. Police seized four counterfeit notes in
the arrest. The woman will appear in Lismore Local Court later this month.
A considerable amount of electrical equipment was stolen from a rural property
on Tregeagle Road, Wyrallah, between 10.30am and 8.50pm on Monday. A white van

A 38-year-old Casino man was arrested and charged with drug possession and
traffic offences after being chased by police through Casino around 11.45pm on
Tuesday night. The man was pursued at speeds of up to 100kph in a 50kph zone in
North Street near Colley Park, where he hit a drain and rolled the vehicle onto
its roof. Police discovered the man was disqualified from driving and was driving
an unregistered vehicle. He was also found with three grams of cannabis.
Police are seeking information after a 1991 Daihatsu sedan belonging to a 31-year-old
woman was found alight in Mackay Street, Lismore Heights, around 1.50am on Wednesday
morning. Police and the fire brigade were called and the incident is being treated
