Police are trying to identify a male who reportedly exposed himself to a woman and small child near the intersection of Elliot and Mackie roads in Clunes around 5pm on Tuesday afternoon. The man is described as 20 to 30 years old, tall and skinny, with short hair. He was naked except for a cloth covering his face. Any information to Lismore Police on 6623 1599.

A wallet and handbag were stolen from a Goonellabah home in Apo Place around 9pm on Monday night while the 56-year-old owner was sleeping and his wife was watching TV. Offender/s gained entry to the premises by removing a fly screen and jumping through an open window. Police are warning residents to keep windows locked or install security screens if they wish to leave window open.

Two pushbikes valued at $600 were stolen from a home in Ballina Road, Goonellabah, between 2 and 4.30pm on Monday. The bicycles, a BMX and a Huffy, were stolen from an open carport. Any information to Lismore Police on 6623 1599.

A 37-year-old Lismore man has been charged with break and enter after he was caught red-handed breaking into a business in Woodlark Street, Lismore, around 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon. Police were alerted to the break in by passing motorists.

A 45-year-old Blacktown man was caught drink driving with a PCA of 0.235, more than four times the legal limit, on the northern side of Emigrant Creek at Uralba around 5.50pm on Sunday. Police caught the man after receiving numerous complaints from the public that he was driving dangerously.

More than $2400 worth of equipment was stolen from a car in Kyogle Street, South Lismore, sometime between 5pm last Thursday and 3pm Saturday. Stolen goods included a 32-litre car fridge, two-way radio and a mobile phone and charger. Any information to Lismore Police on 6623 1599.

Two boys aged 11 and 12 caused around $9000 worth of damage to two cars parked near the Goonellabah Shopping Centre at around 2.30pm last Wednesday. Police investigations are continuing.

Police are encouraging people to beef up car security after a locked 1986 Mazda was stolen from Woodlark Street, Lismore, last Wednesday. Police recommend drivers use an immobiliser, or at the very least, a steering lock.
