The Roxy Gallery in Kyogle is celebrating the festive season with a colourful and vibrant exhibition, Bread and Circus, which features works by 21 local and regional artists. Each year the Roxy puts on a similar Christmas art exhibition, showcasing the seemingly endless pool of talent that dwells in and around the hills of Kyogle and surrounds. "It's a fantastic holiday exhibition that is bright and diverse, with wide appeal for all ages and tastes," said gallery director Ruth Tsitimbinis. "The Kyogle Council and the Kyogle & District Arts Council believe this exhibition is a great way to engage the community in local art and celebrate the wealth of artistic talent here. It's our Christmas present to the community and great opportunity to expose locals and visitors to what we have to offer." Bread and Circus is on show from now until January 13. The Roxy Gallery is at 143 Summerland Way, Kyogle. For information phone 6632 3518. |
