Spring Time Arts

Over the past 12 years the Nimbin School of Arts has produced annual exhibitions during the spring holidays.

The Spring Arts Exhibition has developed into the major arts expo for the Nimbin community, showcasing Nimbin's many fine artists, craft workers, designers, textile artists, weavers, photographers and installation artists.

This large exhibition incorporates the Nimbin Artists Gallery together with the main auditorium, foyer, stage and backstage studios of the Nimbin Hall.

This year marks the centenary of the School of Arts, and to celebrate the big '100' the Spring Arts Exhibition will include a major photo-history display tracing events, concerts, balls, receptions, meetings, theatre, orchestras and other happenings in the hall's four walls.

The Spring Arts Exhibition opens this Saturday, September 25. It will be open daily from 10am-4pm until October 10. There will be a series of grand piano and other music recitals throughout the exhibition. Entry is free.
