A new art exhibition by Jimmy Willing and friends opens tonight, September 2, at the Lismore Regional Art Gallery from 5.30pm.
What started as a one-man show of Jimmy Willing's oil paintings and block prints has now grown into a five-person art show entitled Jimmy Willing and The Pack of Cards.
As well as Jimmy's colourful and often cheeky observations on life, the exhibition also showcases handmade marionettes created by Jimmy and fellow puppeteer Lenka Muchova. These are exhibited in the 'Outerspace' gallery window that can be viewed from Molesworth Street.

Visual art from local band The Box Monsters will also feature in the 'The Vault' exhibition space, with band members Cornelius Delaney, Sean Louth-Robins and Jason Rogers transforming the old bank safe into 'The Voodoo Vault'.
Jimmy will open the show tonight with one of his most exciting acts to date - his singing Jack Russel dog Circus. Proud of this new achievement in his long and illustrious career, Jimmy says, "Not since mastering the art of swallowing harmonicas whole has my work risen to such heights."
Everyone is welcome to attend this unique exhibition opening. For those who can't make it (or get their Echo too late) the exhibition is on show until September 25.
