All Things Bright and Beautiful

The bright and beautiful Small Schools Art Exhibition is now on show at Caddies in Lismore.

The exhibition features works by students from 17 local public schools, with everything from crayon drawings by kindergarten kids to stunning Van Gough impressions by year six students.

The result is a delightful mixture of art that's colourful, vibrant and lots of fun.

"As art teachers we can appreciate the spontaneity of children's art," said coordinator Cathy McEwen. "It's a totally visual exhibition - it's not about thinking or analysing, it's simply about viewing for pleasure. I think it's a great recognition of student excellence and it just fills up the space so beautifully at Caddies."

The Small Schools Art Exhibition is on show until the end of August.
