Curated by Jimmy and featuring some 30 local and interstate artists, the exhibition is a showcase of miniature artwork, with everything from converted matchboxes to sculptures made from bird bones.
"Some of the artists have come up with inventive, modern ways of doing things while others have stuck to more traditional guns - there's pop art to high art, with the size being the unifying factor," Jimmy said. "The concept actually grew from Caddies itself - it's a small exhibition space and the show and the venue are just made for each other. And because the works are midget size, they are usually more affordable, and that means almost anyone can take home a piece of original art." Revenge of the Midgets is on show until the end of June. |
